In the name of God amen, I George P. Watts of the Borough of Washington in the Country of Warren and State of New Jersey being of sound and disposing Mind, Memory and Understanding for which blessing I thank God do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say:
First It is my will and I hereby order and direct my Executor and Executrix hereinafter named to pay all my Just debts and funeral Expenses as soon after My decease as this same can conveniently be done.
Second I hereby order and direct my Executor and Executrix hereinafter named to Sell and dispose of all that part of my lot where I now reside in said Borough of Washington bounded on the south by (Briston?) Andrews lot on the north by Jacob Fitts lot and extending from the (Spence?) Run Turnpike (near Broad Street) back to the other end of Said Andrews lot at such time and place as my said Executor and Executrix may determine and at their discretion the proceeds of Said Sale to be used for the benefit of My Estate and I hereby authorize my said Executor and Executrix to make a good and sufficient conveyance for the same.
Third It is my Will and I order and direct my Executor and Executrix hereinafter named to continue and carry on my present business of tin and Sheet iron Working and the other branches now connected therewith after my decease until the death of my wife. At the expense of my Estate at the direction of my Executor and Executrix and for this purpose I give, Bequeath and desire all my estate real and personal and the Rents issued and profits thereof to my beloved wife Elizabeth for and during the tenure of her Natural life.
Fourth It is my will that after the death of my said wife that all my property shall be sold and after the payment of all just debts owing by My Estate and the costs charges and expenses of letting the same, I give and bequeath as follows to wit to my sons George Watts and William H. Watts each an equal one thirds part of such balance of my Estate and to my daughters Margaret, the wife of Daniel Cowell, and Susannah, the wife of Job J Davis an equal sixth part thereof.
Fifth I hereby Make Constitute and appoint my beloved wife Elizabeth Executrix and my friend Joseph Vliet executor of this my last will and testament. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this First day of February in this year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy three.
