New Commissions

The following are among the new commissions issued by the governor on Saturday last (April 4, 1863):--

….Fifteenth Regiment, First lieutenant Adoniram J. Bradley of Boston to be captain January 22, 1863, vice C. H. Watson, discharged.

First lieutenant Edward J. Russell of North Brookfield to be captain, January 27, 1863, vice Rockwood, discharged.

Second lieutenant William R. Steele of Worcester to be first lieutenant, October 28, 1862, vice Jorgensen; the commission issued to John S. Hall having been recalled.

Second lieutenant Charles M. Batchelder of Grafton, to be first lieutenant, January 3, 1863, vice Storer, discharged.

Second lieutenant Frederick Bullard of Brookfield, to be first lieutenant, January 8, 1863, vice Howe promoted captain.

Second lieutenant Pliny George, of Webster, to be first lieutenant, January 22, vice Bradley, promoted.

Second lieutenant Henry G. Bigelow, of Paxton, to be first lieutenant, January 27, vice Russell, promoted.

Sergeant James of Fitchburg, to be second lieutenant, October 28, 1862, vice Frazier declined promotion.

Sergeant Henry G. Dudley of Grafton, to be second lieutenant, Jan., 3, 1863 vice Batchelder promoted.

Sergeant David M. Earle of Brookfield, to be second lieutenant, Jan. 8, 1863 vice Bullard promoted.

Sergeant Nelson V. Stanton of Northbridge to be second lieutenant, Jan 22, 1863, vice George promoted.

Sergeant John E. Norcross of Oxford, to be second lieutenant, Jan. 27, 1863, vice Bigelow promoted.

Sergeant Major Henry C. Ward, to be second lieutenant, March 14, 1863, vice Albert Smith, declined promotion.
