The following commissions in the fifteenth regiment have been issued by the executive department:

First Lieut. C. H. Stevens of Leominster, to be captain, July 1, 1863, vice Murkland, killed in action.

First Lieut. Samuel J. Fletcher of Northbridge, to be captain, July 4, 1863, vice Jorgenson; killed in action.

First Lieut. G. W. Brown of Leominster, to be captain, July 30, 1863, vice Woodward discharged.

Second Lieut. James May of Fitchburg, to be first lieutenant May 30, 1863, vice Bullard discharged.

Second Lieut. Henry G. Dudley of Grafton to be first lieutenant, April 11, 1863, vice Woodward , promoted.

Second Lieut. David M. Earle of North Brookfield, to be first lieutenant, April 17, 1863, vice Hooper, promoted major.

Second Lieut. Nelson V. Stanton of Northbridge, to be second lieutenant, July 4, 1863, vice Buss, died of wounds.

Second Lieut. Thomas J. Hastings of Worcester, to be second lieutenant, August 30, 1863, vice Bigelow, discharged.

Second Lieut. Joshua Freeman of Clinton to be first lieutenant, Sept. 26, 1863, vice Murray, discharged.

Sergeant Maj. Dwight Newbury of Worcester, to be first lieutenant, July 4, 1863, vice Stevens, promoted.

Sergeant George B. Simonds of Fitchburg, to be first lieutenant, July 30, 1863, vice Brown, promoted.
