The tenth annual reunion of the DeWitt Guards, Company E Association, Fifteenth Regiment Massachusetts volunteers, was held at Memorial Hall, Oxford, Thursday, being the sixteenth anniversary of the departure of the company from the town to the war. The occasion was one of unusual interest to all presenting the reading of a paper by P. F. Murray recalling many events of army life, both sad and humorous. Hon. Alexander DeWitt called on the association and extended an invitation to dine with him at the Oxford Hotel, where A. J. Kirby kept the well deserved reputation of his house good. There was a very large attendance of the members of the company, many of whom came a great distance, showing an increasing interest in the annual gathering.

The following officers were chosen for the year ensuing; President, P. F. Murray; vice-president, John A. Thurston; secretary and treasurer, L. E. Thayer; directors, A. B. Yeomans, N. A. Vial, Orlando McIntire. The association adjourned to meet at Oxford, June 28, 1878.
