William Walden Davis, aged 66 years, died at 3:30 a.m. today, at his home at 36 Main street. Heart failure was the cause of death. Mr. Davis had been in poor health for the past six years, but it was not until the past two weeks that it was considered serious. Mr. Davis was a veteran of the Civil War and saw three years' active service in the Union army. He was a native of Leominster and has always lived here, being quite well known among the older residents and having many friends. He is survived by a widow, a daughter, Mrs. Herbert E. ?? and a brother, Henry R. Davis, Boutelle street. The funeral will be from the house, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
