| Notes from Bob Ducharme: | |
| * My research shows that this man was in Co C of the 36th
Regt. perhaps he was relative of John T, Bixby of the 15th who died in the hospital at
Gettysburg ** My research shows that this man was in Co. B of the 32nd Regt perhaps a relative of George F. Newton of Auburn who was in Co. A who is listed as missing at Ball's Bluff and is buried in Yorktown National Cemetery *** Perhaps Henry A. Moffit, brother of Albert S. Moffit of Co. E. You will note that most of these men were either in Co E (Oxford) or Company I (Webster) Since these two towns are so close together and these men may have belonged to the Oxford Post, I'm not sure whether the reunion is from the 15th or the GAR Post 27. |
