The 53d annual reunion of
Companies E, I, and F, 15th Regiment Massachusetts
Volunteers, will be held at the Joslin house, Saturday when the
survivors of these three companies will gather together, with the
honorary members, to conduct the annual business meeting, and have
The occasion this year will
mark the first in many years without the presence of Col. Smith of
The arrangements in Webster
are being looked after by E. B. Wakefield, the last of the Slater
Guards living in Webster. Mr.
Wakefield is in charge of the details, and is arranging the dinner.
The invitations have been sent out to the members and
honorary members of the association by Leonard E. Thayer of

Volunteers was held in Webster Saturday, with a roll call, business
meeting and dinner at
the Joslin House. A
feature of the gathering was the presence of E. Walter Smith, son of
the late Col. Henry E. Smith of
The election of officers
resulted in the following choice:
