    John Relph of "C" Company, 122d N.Y.V. came home with the regiment and was honorably discharged in June, 1865. He returned at once to Fayetteville and resumed his occupation of blacksmithing which he has since followed.
    During most of the time he has conducted a shop of his own. He was one of the charter members of Fayetteville Tent of Rechabites and has been a consistent member of the order for over 13 years. He is a fine workman, a good citizen, and enjoys the respect of the entire community. He was married when he enlisted and has a large family of children and grandchildren.
